Can I try Sophos Central for free first?

Yes, you can test Sophos Central free of charge for 30 days without obligation. However, the trial account cannot be converted to a Sophos Central subscription after the trial period has expired. So, if you decide to buy a Sophos Central subscription after 30 days, you will receive a new Sophos Central account. All configurations that you have already made in your test account cannot be imported.
IMPORTANT: If you decide to sign up for a trial account first, do not use the email address you want to use for your productive Central Account later on. The email address can only be used once.

I already have a Sophos Central account. Can I change to the Sophos Central subscription?

No. If you already have a Sophos Central account, it cannot be converted to a Sophos Central subscription. We need to create a new Sophos Central account for you. All configurations that you have already made in your existing account cannot be imported.

Which payment methods are supported?

For a Sophos Central subscription we require a credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, no prepaid cards).

Which currencies are accepted?

Sophos Central subscription is currently available in either Swiss francs (CHF) or euros. Customers from Switzerland are currently automatically charged in CHF for the subscription, while customers from Germany and Austria receive the subscription at the specified Euro prices. It will be possible to choose the desired currency later on.

Where can I see the current status of my licences, which will be charged on the 22nd of each month (1:00 AM GMT)?

When you sign in to your Sophos Central account, you can click on it in the upper right-hand corner where your account number is located and select Licensing. Afterwards, you will be shown a list of which products you are currently using and how many of them will be used. You can also watch a short video here. Using our price list, you can calculate how much will be deducted from your credit card at the end of the month.

How exactly does the licensing model work at Sophos Central?

Sophos Central licenses per user. For example, if you want to protect your laptop and fixed workstation at home with Sophos Central Endpoint Advanced, all you need is a license. So it doesn't matter how many devices you want to protect. It is crucial to whom these devices belong. Only Sophos Central Server Protection is licensed per server and Sophos Central Wifi per access point.

Am I always entitled to the latest version?

With the Sophos Central subscription, you are always entitled to the latest version of each product in Sophos Central. As soon as a new version with new features is available, you can use it without extra charge.

I have now purchased a Sophos Central subscription. How long will it take you to open my Sophos Central account?

Once you have purchased your Sophos Central subscription, it will take a maximum of 24 hours for us to open your Sophos Central account with Sophos.

I have been waiting for a confirmation email to my Sophos Central account for more than 24 hours. What do you want me to do?

If you haven't received an email from Sophos within 24 hours, there are several reasons why you may not have received it. To isolate the problem, log in to your Sophos Licensing Account and check whether the yellow bar with the information that the account is being created within 24 hours still appears on the Sophos Central subscription. If this is the case, we have not yet been able to open your account with Sophos. If you see that your account is activated, you can contact us via our chat.
